Job Description – .NET Developer
Position Overview: Outamation Technologies is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented .NET Developer to join our growing software development team. As a .NET Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications while working closely with experienced developers, business analysts, and quality assurance teams. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing technical interfaces, application specifications, and system architecture.
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces and client-side components for web applications.
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain software modules and application components.
- Collaborate with senior developers and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Gather and understand business requirements and assist in implementing technical solutions.
- Analyze, install, configure, and support software applications and development tools.
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Create and consume Web APIs to support application integration.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize application performance while following coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in Microsoft technologies will be an added advantage.
Experience Required:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in .NET application development.
- Internship, academic project, or professional experience using Microsoft technologies is preferred.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is desirable.
Additional Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web APIs, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework.
- Understanding of C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development concepts.
- Familiarity with JSON and third-party API integration.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database concepts.
- Ability to understand application logic, reports, and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts will be an added advantage.
