Position Overview:
Outamation Technologies is seeking a passionate and results-driven Python Developer to join our growing technology team. As a Python Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and related technologies while contributing to high-quality software solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python and industry best practices.
- Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code to solve real-world business problems.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs using modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data processing workflows.
- Work with data manipulation libraries to process, analyze, and transform datasets.
- Collaborate with development teams to design scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies.
- Contribute to technical documentation and follow software development best practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant certifications in Python or related technologies will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Required:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python application development.
- Professional experience in developing applications using Python in enterprise or commercial environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Good understanding of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and performing database operations using Python.
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for programming and developing efficient software solutions.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and quickly adapt to new technologies and challenges.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and server environments.
- Experience with Machine Learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenCV.
- Knowledge of web and visualization frameworks including Flask, Plotly, Streamlit, or Taipy.
- Experience working with Redis.
- Familiarity with PyTest for automated testing.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning and technical growth.
Shifts:
- General Shift.
- Candidates should be flexible to work in rotational shifts or extended hours based on project and business requirements.
